How to Join

If you want to come and shoot, here’s what you’ll need to do:

Come down to the club with an existing member, or use the email address below to contact a committee member. If you are under 16 years of age, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Fill out a membership proposal form and sign two declaration forms (Safe Handling and Section 21 of the Firearms Act). Your details will be sent off to the police for checking.
 

If you like us, and we like you (!) pay to join as a probationary member for 6 months. We’ll coach you and monitor progress. You’ll need to pay to join the CSA (our governing body) as a full member (you pay a pro-rata percentage of the full fee, depending when you join), and half of PYE’s annual membership. How much will it cost ?

The range is leased by the Cambridge Shooting Association and all members that use it are required to pay a fee towards the running of the range. There is also an annual Pye Club fee. However you can shoot for free for 3 nights to decide if you like shooting as a sport. You then pay a 6 month fee (half the full fee) for your probabtionary membership.
